Apple TV 2G 1080p Hack May Be Possible
A lot of people have held of getting an Apple TV 2G because of the lack of 1080p support, and the rumored Apple TV 3G 1080p support. Thanks to the recent MobileX hack (rewritten version of SpringBoard) being created by developers Steven Troughton-Smith and Nick it may be possible to get the Apple TV to output 1080p. This means an Apple TV 1080p hack may be released in the future if it turns out to be feasible.
Currently, Steven Troughton-Smith has mentioned he has tried quickly and it didn’t work, but it may be possible if he spends some more time looking into it.
It is no question that tonight has been full of some exciting news, and we look forward to what actually comes out of MobileX.
